With the ground almost at maximum capacity (23,500) a very exciting game was witnessed. Surrey won the toss and elected to bowl, with Somerset managing 136-9 just within timeframe. Surrey retaliated initially with a strong performance (Pieterson striking a season best of 39 runs) , but then the side stuttered badly with the run rate beginning to rise, piling the pressure on the lower order. Surrey did come home in the final over with an extremely tight 137-7.

Unfortunately none of the Rose Building Services team managed to catch any T-shirts being thrown into the crowd, however Steve Nash (Commissioning Manager) did win the RBS Score Prediction side bet - well done Steve!
