£45m phased construction project completed over 2.5 years, consisting of new build, refurbishment and upgrade of existing blocks campus wide. Rose Building Services managed the £8m M&E and electrical design and installation throughout the project. A new campus wide electrical utility upgrade from 4 services to 1 main service supplying the site and upgrading the supply cables and LV panels in each block. Installation of a primary energy centre to supply heat and hot water to the site, with satellite plant room feeding the interval blocks on the campus.

A new library space and 250 person performance space was built in the heart of the campus linking all the buildings together.

Throughout the project we had to maintain service to the campus while the upgrades to each block were completed, as well as incorporating  the client changes to the design to meet the ever changing needs of the University.
