The Oxford Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre is to be refurbished and relocated to the existing Mayfair Ward at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. The Mayfair ward (single storey wing off the modern main PFI buildings) was an original unoccupied 1930s construction which has been subject to complete strip out and created connections onto the existing PFI main infrastructure, with the extension of services providing up-to date laboratory, clinical and office accommodation.
Rose Building Services were involved within this project as Technical Services Managers for the Main Contractor, having an input into the project MEP procurement, management of the design process including drawing reviews, RFI and technical submission review including trackers, along with the Construction phase site progress including M&E progress meetings, quality control, program reviewing and reporting, Quality control and inspections. Commissioning programming and tracker witness testing.
