RBS provided the role of Validation Engineer on behalf of JRL Midgard and operating as an independent responsibility to achieve satisfactory MEP testing and commissioning and in accordance with BREEAM ‘Excellent’ environmental performance rating.

RBS were engaged at the final phases of the project to ensure quality checks in relation to the installation, commissioning, record drawing checks and certification and to the satisfaction of the Client Argent.

Hilson Moran Partnership design was produced in 2015 and developed to detailed design by Contractors SES.

The project was constructed by Carillion until the liquidation in January 2018, with the main services and risers completed by Contractors SES.

JRL Midgard had the responsibility for taking over delivery to engage suppliers to conclude the S2 Grade ‘A’ 190,000 sq. ft. project. This involved an amount of dilapidation works mainly created by exposed works in the winter months and following the demise of Carillion.
The new development on the redeveloped Kings Cross Estate was known as S2 Project and following conclusion fully let to Google.

The building provided 11 floors of office area, with basement, back of house, reception and retail areas.
